Recipe: Cold brew noodles

This is the all-new recipe from the cold brew noodle episode.

Place in a French press:
1 cup noodles
2–3 cups water, to cover
pinch kosher salt

Stir with a chopstick, then cover with the plunger. Let sit 8 to 10 hours, overnight or during the work day. Drain but save the starchy water for thickening sauces. Enjoy with a warm sauce, or cold by using your fingers!

Recipe: Microwave noodles

This is the recipe from the reloaded noodle episode.

Place in a glass loaf pan:
1 cup noodles
2 cups water
pinch kosher salt

Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 4 minutes, 11 seconds or until boiling. Let sit, covered, for another 8 minutes.

I revisited making noodles from the steak stir-fry episode from years ago. People who live alone in cramped apartments have long known how to microwave ramen noodles, but it turns out that you can microwave any kind of noodle. And if you have patience, you can also make cold brew noodles using your French press!
